Meet Beechwood FC’s new sponsor… the delicious Nobó! and 10% discount for the Beechwood family

We are delighted to have Nobó as a new sponsor and the husband and wife team behind the successful healthy brand say they are equally thrilled.

In January, when Brian and Rachel Nolan opened their coffee and chocolate haven in Helen Turkington’s old shop on Dunville Avenue, top of their mind was to make themselves an asset to the community.

“When we opened "The Treathouse", becoming part of the community was important to us, we wanted to get involved and create a positive impact, said Rachel.

Brian said he's been coming down to watch Beechwood FC matches for a decade to watch his nephews play and feels a real affinity for the club, especially now the eldest of their three boys plays there - with the other two hot on his heels.

Rachel said being connected with such a brilliant club ties in with their mission statement ; to help people take a healthy approach.

“We really hope the locals enjoy our products. We have only five ingredients in our chocolate - all natural, no refined sugar or nasty additives. Our packaging is from eucalyptus trees and we use single origin cocoa supply”, she said.

On a sunny Saturday in mid September Rachel and Brian popped up at training in Killians and Donnybrook handing out their gorgeous treats and the kids (and parents) were loving them. Nobody noticed they contain 50 percent less sugar than usual milk chocolate.

The Treathouse is open seven days a week so pop in and check out their open chocolate R&D lab where the chocolatiers work.

There’s a 10% discount for Beechwood FC families too.

Just tell the person on the till. There will be kids size smoothies for three euro in the coming week, the coffee is top notch and you can tuck into the yummy treats and give them to the kids without guilt as Nobó only uses real only real ingredients.

Nobó started when Rachel and Brian started making dairy free ice-cream in their kitchen and selling it at farmer markets.

Fast forward a decade and they have sold over a million of their giant chocolate buttons, are exporting to Canada, the UK and selling all over Ireland.

They have come a long way and Beechwood is on the rise also. We make a good partnership.

Welcome on board Rachel and Brian!
